COD is a measure of the amount of oxygen required to chemically oxidize the organic matter in wastewater. BOD is a measure of the amount of oxygen consumed by bacteria as they break down organic matter. TSS is a measure of the number of solid particles that are suspended in the water.
COD, BOD, and TSS analyzers are designed to continuously monitor the levels of these parameters in wastewater treatment plants, industrial plants, and other facilities that generate wastewater. These analyzers provide real-time data on the quality of the water, allowing operators to make adjustments to the treatment process as needed.
The optical method online COD sensor (Chemical oxygen demand sensor) is more economical and environmentally friendly than the traditional chemical method. Small in size, easy to install, and can be used for continuous online water quality monitoring. Automatic compensation for turbidity disturbances, with automatic cleaning device, optional titanium alloy (corrosion resistant).
